D/? Drok's Run Build question
Hey folks. I used to be my guild's Drok's runner, but after the new AI upgrade, I've found that my wammo just can't make it anymore. I have been hearing things like the Dervish is the new Drok's Runner. If this is true, I was wondering if I could get a complete build posted here. I've seen the other posts concerning this, but none of them show the attributes/armor/runes. If you feel like not posting the build here, then please PM me the build. My only want/purpose for wanting to relearn the drok's run is because I *was* the best my alliance had (no, not a huge alliance, just a group of closely knit folks). Now, however, no one in my alliance has been able to complete that run. (I have as yet to get my Dervish to 20, as I have been busy working on my Para). Thank you in advance to all, and any, that assist me in my goal of running my guild/alliance folks.

I'm not sure of the exact build, but I had a Dervish runner take me from Beacon's Perch to Drok's last week, and he made it fairly easily. In fact I killed myself right away after he each zone he made it through so I could watch the skills he was using. He was a D/A, and the two main skills he used during the run were Harrier's Haste and Mystic Regeneration.
It was quite profitable for him too - he was getting 6K each, 3K at Dreadnaughts Drift, 2K at Snake Dance, and 1K at Camp Rankor. Then he accepted tips at Drok's. 30K plus tips for about 20 minutes work.

As a noob runner my self, i have never ran drok or anything before even when i had a warrior. But I got say dervish vow of silence is really, really good, I took a try on running to drok myself and I succeeded on getting to dreadnough without a hitch, it was my first time too. But I hesitated and tried to look for a map on which way to go on dreadnoughtand died.. died and died and kept dying and I eventually quit.
The skills I think is most vital on dervish at drok run is probably Vow of Silence, and fleeting stability. Although you cant keep up VoS 100% time, since you can't cast it while it is on you, 1 second still make you resistant to water snare if you run through fast enough,
the other enchant I used with vital boon and featherfoot's grace
for running I used harrier's haste and enchated haste, you should be able to stack up to 33% speed boast with featherfoot
for heal u get signet of pious light and mystic healing or vital boon
The run through lornar's pass was a breeze even for first time running noob like me who keeps going the wrong way and over aggroing.
Oh btw, there seem to be a bug, that if you die, and you set your hero back to town post they teleport to you. I used this to my advantage on the last slope as I got killed. I set my hero back to town post the teled to me and resed me.

Here are possible skills, you could use.
Against damage: Vow of Silence, Fleeting Stability
Healing: Mystic Regeneration, Natural Healing
Running: Featherfoot Grace, Enchanted Haste, Whirling Charge
It's important to have Vow of Silence because much damage comes from spells. Anti Knockdown is also very important.
A 20% enchantment mod is needed (e.g. Totem Axe + a no req Shield with 10 armor or just a scythe with 20% enchantment).
Blessed Insignia or Windwalker is no bad idea.
Try to play a bit with the skills.

I also heard of a build as D/A. You use Dash and Dark Escape [Assassin] as well as your listed Dervish skills.

Being a Noob runner myself , i tried some of the skills you recommended.
Vow of Silence is indeed a good skill , but when it is active you cant use other spells. This means you cant activate running spells during the time Vow of Silence is up. Guess you might have to activate these skille before casting Vow of Silence.
So using running stances might be a good idea.
When Vow of silence is active , you cant heal yourself with spells. This means in the 10 seconds you have , Natural Healing etc etc is impossible to use.
So if you run toward a lager group of foes , you HAVE to get rid of them and find a "open"place with no foes around in 10 sec.
That seems a real challenge to me ....
Would warriors Healing Signet do anny good here ?
Tried the run towards Droknar a few times , but did not got far. Guess this is due to my lack of expirience in running , and i have to learn the build i trying.
So far i will keep on trying ......

Sorry, but that's just not true. Cast Featherfoot Grace and Mystic Regeneration first, then Vow of Silence and Conviction, so you got a nice healing breeze, more armor and 25% speed increase.
D/A might be a good idea but I don't got factions
